MEISNGER's endo access collection
Endo Access diamond burs can be used for efficiently creating and refining access cavities during endodontic procedures. These burs are ideal for establishing a straight-line path to the root canals by removing obstructing enamel and dentin. Their precise cutting capabilities help in accurately locating canal orifices and shaping the cavity to facilitate thorough cleaning and shaping of the root canals. Endo Access burs ensure a smooth and controlled process, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of root canal treatments.
MEISINGER's endo access collection spans three instrument types to match your specific access scenario:
- Diamond endo access burs — ideal for cutting through zirconia, PFM porcelain, and hard enamel; available in FG and surgical long-shank (FGXL) for anterior and posterior access.
- Long-neck carbide burs (HM191A series) — a slender neck design that maximizes visibility in deep or restricted access fields; available in RAL (31 mm) and RAXL (34 mm) lengths with head diameters from 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm.
- Steel round burs (180GR / 183LR series) — for pulp chamber refinement, caries removal, and dentin shaping after the initial access is established.
Shank options include FG friction grip, FGXL surgical extra-long, RAL right angle long, and RAXL right angle extra-long, covering high-speed handpieces, contra-angle, and surgical motors. Individual burs are available in a variety of pack quantities, with select carbide burs available in sterile single-use packaging.
Are sterile single-use endo access burs available?
Yes. Select carbide endo access burs in the FGXL surgical extra-long shank are available in sterile single-use packaging — suitable for practices with single-use instrument protocols or for cases requiring an uncontaminated cutting edge on a compromised tooth.
