With the pin inserted into the gingival sulcus, it ensures a uniform, well-defined chamfer margin and controlled axial wall reduction throughout the preparation. Available in both coarse and fine grits, the coarse option is ideal for gross reduction, while the fine grit is suited for smoothing and finishing of the preparation.
