On June 15th, 1888, Artur Meisinger founded the “Deutsch-Amerikanische Zahnborherfabrik” (DAZF) or “German-American Dental Drill Factory” in Düsseldorf, Germany. In 1924, DAZF and its competitor E. Hager & Co. merged to become Hager & Meisinger GmbH.

In 1998, Dr. Burkard Höchst and Sebastian Voss became the Managing Directors of Hager & Meisinger.

In 2001, the subsidiary “Meisinger USA L.L.C.” was founded for distribution of Meisinger products in North America joined by President Alex Miller. Meisinger USA was founded in Jacksonville, Florida, and has been growing ever since.

In 2005, Meisinger USA’s headquarters relocated to Centennial, Colorado, and has since outgrown two buildings.

In 2011, Meisinger USA hosted the first High Altitude Bone Management Winter Camp, later to be renamed the High Altitude Comprehensive Implant Symposium (or “HACIS”). High Altitude is a unique “ski-and-learn” continuing education course focusing on dental surgery with a small study club atmosphere. High Altitude was first located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but since 2013 has found its home in Vail, Colorado.

In 2018, Meisinger moved into its brand-new facility (next door) that is more than two times the size of its previous facility all in thanks to all loyal customers.

In 2020, Meisinger USA's flagship event High Altitude Comprehensive Implant Symposium (or "HACIS") celebrated its 10th anniversary and was hosted in Zürs, Austria.
