Learn the Carotta GBR Technique
The Carotta Bone Augmentation Technique, developed by Prof. Fouad Khoury, is a GBR technique that involves using autogenous bone cores (carrots) harvested from the implant site to allow for simultaneous implant placement and reduce healing time.
Advantages of the Carotta GBR Technique:
- Simultaneous Implant Placement
- Reduce Biomaterial Expenses
- Minimally Invasive Bone Regeneration
- Better Bone Quality & Shorter Treatment Time
Why Learn the Carotta GBR Technique?
Simultaneous Implant Placement
Prof. Khoury's Carotta technique utilizes simultaneous implant placement and bone augmentation to reduce treatment stages for increased efficiency and patient comfort.
Reduce Biomaterial Expenses
Prof. Khoury recognizes the advantages of using only autogenous bone without additional biomaterials in the Carotta technique, which promotes faster bone regeneration, and lowers overhead costs.
Minimally Invasive Bone Regeneration
Utilizing the cylinder of bone (carrot) extracted from the implant osteotomy eliminates the need for a secondary wound site, reducing surgical trauma, preserving tissue and lowering patient discomfort.
